We just finished baking all day to fill our 20 or so orders that have come in due to our appearance on the news. If you haven’t gotten a chance to watch it, click here. We could only bake so many bars as we ran out of bags (hopefully they come tomorrow), but everyone’s order should be shipped out tomorrow.
Also, in other news, we are working on getting Eddie’s into more stores. As our reach spreads throughout different US cities, our wonderful customers have suggested (and are more than willing) to help us get into stores in their area. If you have a retailer in mind that would be great to carry Eddie’s, by all means, let us know. We like the small, independently-owned stores. We are also looking into distribution in Canada as well as out west in the northern California area, and into Wisconsin. I know, they are pretty random places, but that is where we have been given the opportunity to expand. Further New England expansion is being looked into as well.
So, what does all of this mean? We will be changing the label slightly over the next few weeks to make our Vermont roots known, as well as making the back label with ingredients and nutrition facts easier to read and comprehend. Plus, we’re going ahead and getting UPC codes to make our retailers happy and to have the chance to land some bigger accounts.
With all of that being said, it has been a wild ride these past few weeks at Eddie’s headquarters–not to mention our oven seems like it may be on it’s way out! Stay tuned–there could be some pretty shiny pictures up on the blog soon.
