Although, the Chicken Pie Supper has already passed at the Richmond Congo Church, it still deserves some lovin’ from me. A month ago, Richmond’s Chicken Pie Supper was noted in the Washington Post. Click here to read the article.
If I had to list something I miss while I am away at school (besides family and friends), one of them would definitely be the chicken pie supper at the Congo church in Richmond, VT (the same town where Eddie’s Energy Bars are made). The church has many people make the same recipe of chicken pie and they bring it in to be served to the residents of Richmond, and most likely people from all over the state. It is quite possibly the best chicken pie on this planet, no matter who makes it. The atmosphere in the renovated church basement is nice too. I get to mingle with all my friends, and some adults here and there.
To top this awesome night off, fresh baked apple pie with a couple cubes of cheddar cheese. What could possibly be better?
When next year rolls around, be sure to drop on by the Congregational Church in Richmond, VT for their Chicken Pie Supper. It’s to die for! Come up for a fall hike if you’re ever in Richmond, or many of the surrounding towns, and make sure to pick up our energy bars, too!
