It’s National Walk at Lunch Day April 18th!

Hey my energy bar loving friends,

Quick post tonight, as I am up to my neck in homework I haven’t exactly started yet–none of it is due tomorrow Mom, don’t worry.

While I was surfing the net today, I came across something I had never heard of. It’s National Walk at Lunch Day tomorrow, April 18th. You may read about the article here. I think it is a great initiative, and more people should start walking. To be quite honest, I love walking. I would walk for so much longer than if I had to run. It is just so much more relaxing, as well as it gives you the time to look around at the naturally beautifully landscaped areas that surround you.

Now, most people will probably walk around their work-site. A massive amount of cars, street lamps, and brick buildings is probably not the most pleasant sight, but at least it is better than just sitting in your office twirling your thumbs while you devour a lunch from the cafeteria. Am I right?

The key to a good exercise routine is that you stay committed and exercise every day. This doesn’t mean that you should walk only because I told you it was National Walk at Lunch Day. You should be walking for your own personal health. It is the right choice to be making.

You know what else is good for your health? Some healthy homemade energy bars from the great state of Vermont!–Wow, that was pretty in your face. I apologize.

But really, please go out and walk for National Walk at Lunch Day Wednesday, April 18th.
